I'm an Athlete, Feminist & Your Fiercest Cheerleader!

Before being a multi-passionate entrepreneur, I was (and still am) a multi-sport competitive athlete. My love of sports not only defines me, it bleeds through my blood, body, mind and soul. Without movement and sport, what would be my identity?​

Flash forward to my 40th birthday when chronic pain, repetitive stress injuries, concussions, bike crashes, lots of falls, and a few near fatal accidents brought me to my knees and forced me to redefine my identity as "athlete", "warrior" and "young”.

Chronic pain and injuries also forced me to change careers from my dream job to one that was…well…less so dreamy and less youthful in my mind. For several years, I believed that had chosen wrong…that I had settled for something stable instead of joyful. I felt stuck in a hamster wheel of stress, pain, disappointment and feeling unsatisfied. My soul was miserable, and…well…my body & face showed it. My bright smile dimmed, my immune system was shot, and I felt like I had to just accept life as an “old woman”.

It doesn’t have to be this way. I knew I needed to find a “way out” and get back my joyful life…because my soul depended on it….and because life’s too short to be miserable with regrets.

I’ll be honest with you. Changing my mindset from stuck to joyful possibilities wasn’t always easy. In a nutshell, it was one of the hardest, and longest roads that I’ve had to endure both personally & professionally. I had to unwind a lifetime of patterns and beliefs, and show up for myself in new and different ways.

This is why I'm on a mission to help people get unstuck from the mental mind games of aging, unhealthy relationships with our bodies, and life's hiccups so they can fully embrace the “better half of life” with more satisfaction, more movement, and a joyful approach to this game called life.
